SWEDEN'S CHANCE.The news today are full of stories about large factories closing down and people that can't find employment. The former big Swedish companies are no longer Swedish and the once Swedish carindustry is being overtaken by Chinese companies. The economic crisis in the world today is fundamentaly changing the conditions of the global market.

At the same time the price on energy is increasing and the world seems to be on the brink of a rapid climate change that will greatly affect our enviroment and every day life. From this perspective - what is the future for a small country in the outskirts of Europe? A country that has for a long time used it's exportindustry and excellent energysources to thrive. What will our children do for a living and what will sustain the Swedish society in the future? Maybe by developing science?
